Herta Statement Regarding Driver Change for Kentucky Race

Daniel Herrington, driver and race winner in the 2009 Firestone Indy Lights Series for Bryan Herta Autosport, will take over driving duties of the #29 William Rast entry from Sebastian Saavedra for today’s Drive Smart. Buckle-Up Kentucky 100 at Kentucky Speedway.

“Sebastian Saavedra’s father informed me last night that Sebastian has decided not to participate in today’s race," said Herta. “This turn of events has come to me, our sponsor and our entire race team as quite a surprise. Needless to say I am deeply disappointed. We greatly appreciate and admire Daniel’s willingness to step into our #29 William Rast Indy Lights entry on extremely short notice."
