Chrysler announces incentives

Chrysler is offering interest-free loans or rebates ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 on 2010 model Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles to clear out inventories before 2011 models arrive later this year.

The 0% interest or cash rebates are available for up to 60 months on most models, or 1.9% up to 72 months. Dodge is offering 0% for 72 months on the Dodge Charger. To qualify, a buyer must finance through GMAC Financial Services.

Jeep is offering $4,000 rebates on 2010 Liberty SUVs, Grand Cherokees and Commanders. The 2011 Grand Cherokee is expected to go on sale in July.

Chrysler sold 95,703 vehicles in April, a 25% increase over April 2009 and Chrysler’s strongest month since March 2009. The automaker wants to sustain that momentum, much of which came from stronger sales of two midsize sedans, Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger. Sales of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan, rose 80% and 56%, respectively from April 2009.
