Another layoff at Indy

Jeff Schroeder, the golf professional at the Speedway's Brickyard Crossing course, was recently released in a surprising cost-cutting move. Schroeder had been associated with the golf course most of his life; his father, Rollie, was the longtime pro at the course. . . . IMS had planned to outsource its food and beverage division along with the golf course, but those plans have been scrapped for now.
