Danica, not Dale Jr. now NASCAR’s biggest star

Danica Patrick. Is she headed to NASCAR full time in 2 years?

Due to hit the newsstands March 2nd, NASCAR illustrated features Danica Patrick on the cover.

Based on her TV ratings and media popularity, she has instantly replaced Dale Earnhardt Jr. as NASCAR's biggest star.

Unfortunately Dale Jr. is far from being the best driver in NASCAR and his fan base is probably starting to realize that. There are no excuses left for his poor performance now – he is with the best team and is the worse driver on the team.

Danica Patrick risks the same potential downfall. She is a big star now but if she doesn't start producing the results on the race track, fans and the media will eventually lose interest.
