Brawn not ready to announce drivers for 2010

(GMM) Brawn GP is not going to announce its driver lineup for the 2010 season until well after November's Abu Dhabi season finale.

With Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello the main protagonists for the 2009 drivers' title, the pair's future is also yet to be clarified by their Brackley based employer.

While likely champion Button, 29, is thought to be in discussions over his retainer for 2010, his veteran teammate Barrichello is in top form and also linked with a move to Williams.

Nico Rosberg is expected to be joining the increasingly Mercedes-involved team next year, and team principal Ross Brawn told reporters in Singapore that the decision about his teammate will not be declared while the current duo is dueling for the crown.

"We've got this championship going on at the moment and discussions (with drivers) are going on, but nothing will be announced until much later," he said.
