Kovalainen headed to Kremlin
Heikki Kovalainen may be suffering a frustrating season on track along with team-mate Lewis Hamilton, but the Finn is heading to Russia to show off the championship winning MP4-23 outside of the Kremlin.
“I’m really looking forward to the demonstration in Russia," Kovalainen stated. “Moscow is one of the world’s most magnificent cities and this opportunity to showcase Formula One machinery to so many people, and in such an amazing place, is an incredible opportunity."
The McLaren racer will take to the streets of Moscow on Sunday 19th July just ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix along with Williams Toyota and Red Bull Renault who are also taking part in the demonstration.
“For everybody who attends, this should be an absolutely amazing demonstration of the worldwide appeal of Formula One to a country that is looking forward to hosting its first Grand Prix in the near future," Kovalainen added.
