Engine problem for Vettel in Turkey

(GMM) Sebastian Vettel's attempt to get back in the fight for the 2009 title went awry on Friday afternoon, when his Red Bull ground to a halt in the second Turkish practice session.

Initial reports from the paddock were of a driveshaft problem. "When we got the car back it turned out it was the engine," said the 21-year-old, who still ended the 90-minute session fifth, less than four tenths off the pace of the pacesetter Heikki Kovalainen.

The timesheet looked distinctly topsy-turvy; also right on the pace were Fernando Alonso and Robert Kubica, while championship leader Jenson Button was a distant 12th.
