Saturday Indy Notebook – 2

– Rain is delaying the start of qualifications. Bands of rain are forming just west of Indy, and while the rain is not heavy it is enough to keep the track wet until the next band comes through. As of 1:00 pm all cars are returning to the garage area, and the track appears to be "lost".

– AR1 is hearing that the Roth Racing's cars are NOT in Indy this weekend. Rumor has it that Gil de Ferran has bought the team, and an announcement will be made following the Indy 500. This also eliminates at least one possible qualification attempt on Bump Day. Tim Wohlford reporting from Indy
