Toyota Announces Plans To Continue Racing In F1, NASCAR

Toyota Motor Corp. today announced that it “plans to keep racing in Formula One and NASCAR," despite the company forecasting its first loss in 59 years. Toyota F1 team Principal Tadashi Yamashina today at a press conference said, “For an automaker, it’s very meaningful to continue in motor sports activities, even under the severe environment." Tadashi added “winning is one of the conditions" to keep competing in F1. Bloomberg News
