Three F1 teams tested this week

(GMM) This week saw a break in pre-season group testing, but at least three formula one teams kept up the track action with now less than a month to go until the 2009 season opener in Australia.

The most work was completed at the permanent Ricardo Tormo facility near Valencia in Spain, where Red Bull quietly got in a four day test with both Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel at the wheel of the new RB5.

It is reported that the Milton Keynes-based team did not strike any serious problems, and neither did Australian Webber, who completed two consecutive days at the wheel of a F1 car for the first time since his leg-breaking cycling crash late last year.

One of Vettel's tasks, meanwhile, was the shakedown of a second model of the Adrian Newey penned 2009 car.

Lap times were not released.

Also this week, Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer completed straightline aerodynamic tests with the F60 at Vairano, while Adrian Sutil took the controls as Force India's VJM02 was rolled out at Silverstone in new colours ahead of its proper test debut at Jerez.
