Red Bull engineering shuffle

Red Bull Racing have announced a small change in the team’s engineering department.

For the coming season Ian Morgan will act as Head of Race Engineering, having previously worked as Chief Test Engineer with the team. Morgan will now be in charge of all trackside engineering operations at Grands Prix weekends and tests.

Meanwhile, Paul Monaghan, who for the past few years had worked in the role now assumed by Morgan, will work as Head of Car Engineering.

Monaghan will now be mainly factory-based, with his role set out to work on the design, performance and reliability of the team car and integrate these factors into on-track performance.
