Detroit: Dixon tops opening IndyCar practice

The top two drivers in the IndyCar point standings, and the only two with a chance to win the title, were 1-2 in opening practice on Belle Isle Friday morning. Scott Dixon was comfortably faster than Helio Castroneves who was comfortably faster than the rest of the field.
