Road America Breaks Ground on New Administration Building

Rendering of new Road America Administration building

Road America has broken ground on a new 5,500 sq. ft. administration building. The building will be located on the Road America grounds, just east of the current farmhouse office on State Hwy 67, two miles south of the village of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

The building's design will reflect the farming heritage of the rural Elkhart Lake area while recalling elements of existing buildings located on Road America grounds. The frame building will combine simple geometric forms, traditional gabled roofs, wood clapboard siding, and double hung windows to create a building which is unique yet compatible with the 19th century Victorian buildings found throughout rural Wisconsin.

Completion of the project is set for spring of 2009.
