CDW to partner with KV Racing Technology

KV Racing Technology announced today that CDW will be the primary sponsor of the CDW/KV Racing Technology #5 Honda/Dallara/Firestone entry and driver Oriol Servia at the PEAK Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy 300, September 7-8, at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois.

“We are very pleased to announce that CDW has agreed to partner with KV Racing Technology for the Chicago event," said KVRT co-owner Jimmy Vasser. “For several years CDW has been our IT provider, and they have enjoyed success in the past with hosting customers at racing events. We look forward to having them on board in Chicago and appreciate the opportunity to show their customers the strong IT backbone that KV Racing Technology has built with CDW’s help."

CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services for business, government and education, is headquartered in Vernon Hills, Illinois. They previously sponsored a team in the Champ Car World Series, however this is the first time they have partnered with an IndyCar Series team for customer hosting.

Servia, in his ninth U.S. based open-wheel season, but first in the IndyCar Series, is currently tied for eighth in the championship standings with 298 points. The 34-year-old Spaniard has finished in the top-10 in six of the 14 races this year with four top-five showings. In 139 career starts Servia has 76 top-10 finishes including 38 top-five showings with 16 podium performances, one victory (Montreal 2005) and one pole (Surfers Paradise 2005).
