Barrett to attempt to make Brickyard 400

This upcoming Sunday, the NOS Energy Drink team will head into Indy to attempt to make the Allstate 400 race at The Brickyard. Piloting the #50 Chevy, team driver Stanton Barrett will look to erase the heartbreak of the Daytona 500 and Coca-Cola 600, where despite valiant efforts, the car failed to qualify for the main events. The Allstate 400 is the third of four Sprint Cup events that the SKI Motorsports NOS Energy Drink team plans to participate in this season. This will also be the first time since 1999 that Barrett has a chance to drive in a Sprint Cup event at one of the most legendary race tracks on earth, Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “The sheer number of fans at The Brickyard is always incredible," said Barrett. “We’ve got a good car, a great engine, and I’m looking forward to qualifying on Saturday."
