Kurt Busch draws Budweiser Shootout pole
"It's going to be an interesting race," Busch said. "I'm glad to be part of it because you get to run with a tight group of competition. You get to learn with this new car. Who knows? I could be in 23rd after the first lap just because of how violent the draft could be with this car."
Starting next to Busch n the front row will be Dale Earnhardt Inc.'s Mark Martin.
The race will feature two segments, a 20-lap segment followed by an intermission and then a 50-lap segment, where teams will be required to do a pit stop since they can't go 50 laps on fuel. The race must end under green.
Starting lineup for the 30th annual Budweiser Shootout, a 70-lap race Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway. The field was set by draw Thursday night.
