Toyota teams begin to flex muscle at Daytona

J.J. Yeley posted the fastest lap during a drafting session Tuesday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway. Yeley, who has moved to Hall of Fame Racing for 2008, turned a fast lap of 187.359 in the No. 96 Toyota. Johnson had led the first three sessions this week.

"We ended up fifth overall in single-car runs and fastest in drafting," Yeley said. "It doesn't necessarily mean much, but the car drove really good. I was able to come from the back of the pack to the front a couple of different times, in a couple of different packs."

The first week of testing at the 2.5-mile track concludes Wednesday with two drafting sessions. Cumulative speeds through Tuesday afternoon's session of the NASCAR Sprint Cup test at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway, with position, driver, team and speed:
