Helio safe for another week, told to trust ‘mechanic’

Helio Castroneves released a deep breath as it was announced he and Julianne Hough were "safe" to compete during Week 8 of "Dancing with the Stars."

Five competitors, each of whom will perform two dances on the Nov. 12 (8 p.m. ET on ABC), remain. A few seconds after Castroneves heard his fate, actress Jane Seymour was eliminated from the competition based on the combination of scoring from the three-judge panel and viewer voting.

Castroneves received some pearls of wisdom from judge Len Goodman, who has stressed technique as the fifth season of the popular show drives to a conclusion. The couple received a 27 (of 30) for their Samba performance and 25 for the Tango.

"Remember that you are the race car driver and Julianne is the mechanic. Trust in her. You have to nail the technique," Goodman said. More at IndyCar.com
