ESPNEWS, ESPN360.com to have live coverage

NASCAR fans will be able to watch live coverage of Wednesday’s media announcement by Dale Earnhardt Jr. on cable channel ESPNEWS and on ESPN360.com, ESPN’s signature broadband service. Coverage from Dallas begins at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Earnhardt is expected to announce his sponsor (Mountain Dew and Amp) and car number (88) for his new association next year with Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.

Full coverage and reaction to the Earnhardt announcement will be included in Wednesday night’s edition of NASCAR Now, ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information show, at 6 p.m.

ESPN on ABC will have live coverage of Sunday’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway beginning at 1 p.m. Live coverage of Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Series race at Dover airs at 3 p.m.
