Champ Car re-measures Zolder

Champ Car has measured the Zolder circuit as officially at 2.492-miles long, down from the 2.622-mile lap listed on their website and in previous media releases. BTW, the Euroboss F1 cars are at the Zolder circuit this weekend and their fastest lap times were some 7 seconds per lap slower than the Champ Cars. We mention this because there were some comments made in the past from the Euroboss folks that their cars were faster than Champ Cars. With this myth dispelled one has to wonder if the Champ Car Atlantic cars might be as fast as the Euroboss F1 cars.

Euroboss is a series which features retired F1 cars some 400+ pounds lighter than the Champ Cars.
