24 Hours of Le Mans, F1, NASCAR Trucks Highlight Huge SPEED Weekend

As part of a huge racing week on SPEED, the definitive motor sports and automotive network will deliver its 12th consecutive year of coverage from the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans and the historic Circuit de la Sarthe, beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET on June 16. SPEED will deliver 17.5 hours live, including the final 13.5 hours of the iconic endurance event.

“Synonymous with motor sport is Le Mans," said Rick Miner, SPEED SVP of Production & Network Operations. “One of the great historic motor sports events in the world teamed with SPEED’s world-class coverage will headline a great weekend of racing on the network."

The SPEED on-air team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be led by Leigh Diffey and Greg Creamer handling play-by-play, Dorsey Schroeder and Calvin Fish providing color commentary and Brian Till, Chris Neville, Andrew Marriott and Justin Bell reporting from the pits.

In addition SPEEDtv.com will go live June 11 with multiple reporters on site for inside access to race teams, daily lifestyle features, supercar test drives and frequently updated photo galleries.

SPEED coverage of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will highlight a week of race programming that includes live NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series races from Michigan, live coverage of qualifying and practice from the U.S. Grand Prix at Indy and same-day World Superbike races from San Marino and AMA Motocross racing from Maryland.
