Second Ferrari victory for Senna at Silverstone

Bruno Senna completed a perfect weekend today at Silverstone as he took his second victory in his debut weekend in the Ferrari Challenge, a one-off event for the 23-year-old. Bruno scored his second consecutive lights-to-flag victory in his Ferrari F430 Challenge car at the British circuit in this morning's race.

The race was not as easy for Bruno as yesterday, as he struggled with rear tire degradation and a more difficult car to drive. However, by setting consistent lap times throughout the race he was able to push hard, avoid any mistakes and take his second lights to flag victory this weekend.

Bruno will return to competitive action in three weeks with the GP2 Series for the fourth round of the championship at Magny Cours in France. Bruno currently lies third in the championship on 18 points.

Bruno Senna:
"I've got to be happy with this weekend. I was fastest in the free practice, got two pole position, two victories and one fastest lap. The only thing I missed out on was fastest lap from today's race, but it was pretty near to perfect. The F430 is very different to the single-seater cars I'm used to driving but I didn't find it hard to adapt so I'm pleased. It's been very beneficial racing at Silverstone this weekend with the GP2 race there in a month. I got a lot of laps in so when I get here for GP2 I don't have to think too much about the circuit."
