Spotted former Champ Car president Joe Heitzler at Indy Sunday meeting with IRL officials. Recall that he was pursuing IRL races in San Antonio and Palm Springs……..Besides Dan Clarke we also ran into Walker Racing rookie Simon Pagenaud taking in all the action. He says Mont-Tremblant is a fantastic circuit and the town is beautiful, but don't expect to see much passing because the track is narrow and there are many high-speed corners. "Perhaps you can force your way through at the hairpin turn," said Pagenaud. He thinks the team will be even stronger going forward. "In testing we found some more speed with the car, we should be strong at Portland."
