World champion Fernando Alonso slept-in until 10am on Friday, and after arriving at the circuit spent most of the day in 'casual' mode.
In the evening he went to David Coulthard's hotel Columbus for a game of tennis, and only later went to 'work' with a function at the McLaren communications centre — a cocktail party for the sponsor Vodafone. His rookie teammate Lewis Hamilton could be found at a Hugo Boss party.
Ferrari's Felipe Massa spent most of the day with his girlfriend at his Monaco apartment, and Kimi Raikkonen was also nowhere to be seen as he played a round of golf.

Saturday has dawned cloudy and warm in Monte Carlo, but the chance of rain is now lower, with local forecasts predicting only a 20 per cent probability. Parts of nearby France, however, are already experiencing rain showers.
For Sunday, a 40 per cent chance of rain exists.
