Coleman wins Busch pole

Joe Gibbs Racing's No. 18 Busch Series Chevrolet of Brad Coleman won the team's fifth consecutive pole at a superspeedway, turning a lap of 184.299 mph Friday at Talladega Superspeedway for Saturday's Aaron's 312.

The pole is the first for Coleman, who will make his seventh career start Saturday. But it's the fifth in a row for JGR's No. 18. J.J. Yeley swept the top qualifying spot at both Daytona races and at Talladega last year.

Aric Almirola won the pole in the No. 18 at Daytona in February.

"This is a brand new car they built," Coleman said. "They didn't know how it would be here. Obviously it is fantastic."

Braun Racing teammates Dave Blaney and Jason Leffler will start second and third, respectively. Blaney's lap of 184.062 slots him second, with Leffler going 183.395 to grab third.
