Rain delaying track activities at Atlanta

Rain has delayed the start of track activities Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Practice for the Craftsman Truck Series was scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. EDT, but the track was still wet. The National Weather Service's Web site predicts a 60 percent chance of showers, with the rain dissipating after 2 p.m.
