Montoya may have thrived at Honda

(GMM) Nick Fry says Juan Pablo Montoya's formula one career would have developed differently had he raced for Honda.

The Japanese squad's principal argued to 'Motorsport Aktuell' that nurturing driver psychology is an aspect of the sport that is often not given enough consideration by teams.

Colombian Montoya, now a fixture of the American NASCAR scene, raced for Williams and McLaren between 2001 and last year and notably ended both relationships by falling out with his bosses.

Fry said: "I am sure that Juan Pablo would have developed differently with us, because we also consider the mental side."
