Daytona, not Indy, is king now

Throw away those Road to Indy hats. The best dirt track and short oval racers in the USA are now wearing Road to Daytona hats, such is the destruction to Indy Car racing and to the Indy 500 since Tony George created the IRL. Mr. George take a bow.

Kraig Kinser, the 21-year-old son of 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser and a development driver for MB2 Motorsports, will move to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series next season, ThatsRacin.com reports. Kinser is expected to run the full schedule in Morgan Dollar Motorsports' No. 47 Chevrolet next season with veteran crew chief Randy Goss, sources said.

Kraig Kinser won the Automobile Racing Club of America race at Talladega, Ala., last month, driving a Chevrolet for MB2. He has seven World of Outlaw feature wins, including the 2005 Knoxville Nationals championship.
