SPEED Adds Indy NASCAR Confidential Special
07/30/08 With apologies and promises it will never happen again and investigations still underway looking at just what went wrong at last weekend’s Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, SPEED will take NASCAR fans deep inside the real-time crisis management exercise at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Adding a special edition of its popular behind-the-scenes documentary series NASCAR Confidential, SPEED and NASCAR Media Group will use their exclusive access to examine, from multiple perspectives, what went on last weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway when dangerous and excessive tire wear took center stage.
NASCAR Confidential: What We Learned at Indy, the one-hour special will premiere Friday at 6 p.m. ET and re-air Saturday at 11 p.m. ET.
“NASCAR Confidential continues to deliver a viewpoint never before offered to race fans on a regular basis," said SPEED SVP of Programming Steve Craddock. “The scale of what happened last weekend is unique and required quick-thinking and pressure-filled decision making from everyone involved.
