AGR announces sponsor for Arie Jr.

Targus Fly & Feather is teaming up Andretti Green Racing/AFS driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. as the primary sponsor of the #26 Firestone Indy Lights entry for the remainder of the 2008 season, beginning with this weekend’s Freedom 100 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“I am really excited to have Targus Fly & Feather on board for the Freedom 100 and the rest of the 2008 season," said Luyendyk. “Targus appreciates high performance, and makes fishing gear that is tuned for the best results in every situation, just like my Firestone Indy Lights car."

Luyendyk, a Firestone Indy Lights veteran, leads the Indy Lights in top-10 finishes and qualified for the Indianapolis 500 in 2006. He has two top fives and three top 10s in the first four races of the 2008 season and is currently fifth in the championship standings. “We’re excited about our sponsorship of Arie’s #26 car at Indy and beyond," said Wayne Richey, CEO of Targus. “The precision and technology of high performance racing matches up very well with the precision and technology of our high-performance fishing gear."
