Alex Lloyd tells Roth no thanks

P.J. Chesson will join Marty Roth in Roth Racing's two-car effort in the IndyCar Series' season-finale at Chicagoland on Sept. 9. Alex Lloyd, who already clinched the Indy Pro Series title, turned down the chance to drive Roth's second car in the hope that a better offer will materialize. Lloyd tested recently with Ganassi Racing, then drove the team's Grand-Am Daytona Prototype at Sonoma, qualifying fifth. AutoWeek
