IndyCar: Series to copy F1’s ‘Drive to Survive’

Per Penske Corporation Executive VP Jonathan Gibson, IndyCar is looking to copy F1’s Drive To Survive Docu-Series success story.

“Getting a ‘Drive To Survive’-like unscripted docu-series is “an important part of our road map, and we’ve had a lot of dialogue in that space, so there’s probably more news to come on that one,” said Gibson.

One can assume it will show on NBCs Peacock streaming service.

Is this another case of IndyCar being asleep at the wheel, too little too late, or will it be the success story that F1 has enjoyed?

NASCAR’s version will be on the market too.
