IndyCar: O'Ward tops Practice 2 at Long Beach

Pato O’Ward again topped IndyCar practice on the streets of Long Beach with a time of 1m05.9982s in his #6 Arrow McLaren Chevy.

Andretti Autosport Hondas were 2-3-4 with Kyle Kirkwood at 1m06.0149s, Romain Grosjean at 1m06.0629s and Colton Herta at 1m06.1475s as qualifying is up next for the Acura GP of Long Beach.

Aussie Scott McLaughlin rounded out the top-5 in his #3 Penske Chevy.

The session was interrupted by two Red Flags in Turn 6, The first when Callum Ilott launched in the air and went head first into the tire barriers, and later when Rinus Veekay made the identical mistake in the same corner.
