Baku City Circuit (BCC), Promoter of the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX – the race where you can always Expect the Unexpected – is thrilled to announce that all grandstands for the seventh edition of the most unpredictable Grand Prix in F1 have now completely SOLD OUT with less than week to go until the pinnacle of motorsport returns to the Azerbaijani capital.
This year’s race weekend will see BCC welcome its most diverse group of fans with more international fans from the widest ranging locations on the planet than ever before set to attend on April 28th – 30th. Tickets have been sold to fans from 100 countries worldwide, meaning that more than half the world’s nations will be represented at the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023!
All 12 grandstands on the most dramatic street circuit in motorsports will be packed out across the weekend to witness the fourth round of the 2023 FIA F1 World championship, with everything still to play for in this record-breaking 23-race season.
With six different winners in the previous six races, the main question this year is whether this remarkable streak will continue, or will we see the first two-time winner in Baku? Only time will tell but everything is set up perfectly for a weekend of thrills, spills, and non-stop action on the Baku City Circuit.
A clear fan-favorite, the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023 promises to deliver non-stop exhilaration once more on and off track that simply cannot be missed! The race weekend will be the first of six races in the 2023 season to stage a sprint race, guaranteeing three days of high-octane, ultra-competitive racing for fans to enjoy on track before they head to the Main Stage to enjoy the headline concerts by DJ superstars Don Diablo and Hardwell.
Baku City Circuit’s General Director, Magsud Farzullayev, spoke of his delight at the news of the sell out: “We are thrilled to announce that we have sold out all grandstands a week before the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023. This is a remarkable achievement and a reflection of the incredible hard work and dedication of every member of the wonderful BCC team to help make this dream a reality. This year, we will be welcoming more fans from more countries than ever before, cementing our ambition to become a home for the whole world to come and enjoy a weekend of electrifying racing and entertainment. With just a few days left until we welcome the return of F1, our entire focus now is on delivering a world-class experience for all fans, stakeholders, and participants. We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!”
