Rumor: Ferrari trying to poach Sauber Technical Director

Rumor has it that Ferrari are trying to poach Jan Monchaux, Sauber’s current Technical Director.

Current Ferrari F1 boss, Fred Vasseur, moved from Sauber to Ferrari and it would seem, if rumors are to be believed, that he wants Monchaux.

Given Alfa Romeo/Sauber’s poor car performance this year we are at a loss what Monchaux would bring to Ferrari, but perhaps Vasseur knows more than we do about the situation at Sauber.

Monchaux may also feel his days are numbered at Sauber once Audi takes over the team.
