IndyCar: Qualifying Has been Delayed due to Weather Conditions ** New Scheduled Time **

IndyCar qualifying is now scheduled for 5:15 pm. There will be no final practice session today.

INDY NXT by Firestone will not qualify today. The series will grid for tomorrow’s race by championship points, giving the pole to Christian Rasmussen.

AR1 spoke with the young Danish driver about his season.

“I am feeling super good, just coming off a race win in Iowa. We have super good momentum right now.”

“I have no expectations for this weekend. We go in and try to do the best job we can. ”

“I think we have a great street circuit car and I think the overall package with me and the team is in a good spot right now.”

“If I win the championship, I obviously want to go to IndyCar. I do not have too much to add to that. We are trying to make that happen for next year.”

IndyCar qualifying for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix has been put on hold.

Rain is falling heavily and water is pooling on the track.

The weather service is saying this storm should move out of the area by 3 pm.
