IndyCar: Where will Ilott be in IndyCar Next Season?

Callum Ilott is in his second season with Juncos Hollinger Racing.   The British driver will admit that the 2023 season has been more than a disappointment for him.

AR1 asked him if he thought the team progressed better after adding a second driver to the team.

“The results are worst than last year.  Factually, they could be a bit better.”

“At the same time, I think we had some great results to come in with.  But we kind of ended up doing everything right on those weekends, and then little things started to catch up with us after that, which took a toll.  This championship is all about doing the little things right.”

“We have some good races when you kind of don’t expect it.   When we do expect it, they don’t go well.   It has been a bit up and down.”

AR1 asked the anxious driver what his plans are for next year.  We are not convinced that he will return with his present team.

“I will be driving an IndyCar next season.  But I want to win.”

Where will Ilott end up?  Would a seat at Andretti Autosport be a good fit for him?  Or is he talking with Chip Ganassi Racing about his ride for next year?

We will have to wait until we get further toward the end of the 2023 season to find out what new team he lands at.
