TV News: USA Weekend TV Ratings

USA TV ratings for this past weekend for NASCAR and IndyCar on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway RC, NHRA at Topeka and SRX at Eldora.

TV Rating Analysis

Suffice it to say that the NASCAR/IndyCar doubleheader weekend at the Brickyard was a complete flop TV ratings wise.

  • The NASCAR Cup Viewership from Indy was down 15.86% despite being on NBC both this year and last. Related Article: Fans unite to Bud-Light NASCAR
  • The NASCAR Xfinity Race Viewership from Indy was down 32.32% as a result of moving from NBC last year to the USA Network this year
  • The IndyCar Gallagher GP Viewership from Indy was down a massive 46.85% as a result of moving from NBC last year to the USA Network this year
  • The NASCAR Truck Viewership was down 17.89% despite being on FS1 both this year and last. Related Article: Fans unite to Bud-Light NASCAR
  • The NHRA Finals from Topeka Viewership was down 26.25% as a result of moving from FOX last year to the FS1 Network this year
  • Both NASCAR and IndyCar lost so many all-important 18-49 year old viewers it’s unfathomable
