NASCAR News: van Gisbergen planning on 30 races in 2024

Shane van Gisbergen has shed light on how his NASCAR racing program might look next year according to V8 Slueth.

Little is known in terms of specifics about SVG’s 2024 activities beyond the fact Trackhouse Racing has signed him to a developmental deal encompassing several tiers in NASCAR.

The three-time Supercars champion though has now indicated he’ll be partaking in 30 or more races.

“I kind of know what I’m doing. It’s not fully confirmed or announced yet, but I’ll end up hopefully doing 30 races or even 40 if I get enough mixed classes,” van Gisbergen said on the Gypsy Tales Podcast.

“It will be mainly in the Xfinity Series but a lot of Cup races and maybe some Truck stuff too.
