Woodie’s Wash Shack (www.woodieswash.com), a national express car wash, is now the official car wash of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg to be held next weekend, March 13-15. Woodie’s has recently opened its first location on 66th St. in Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Fla., and will open another eight locations throughout the Tampa Bay area in 2020. It also has two locations under construction in Memphis, Tenn.

“We think it's only fitting that Woodie's Wash Shack, the premier car wash in Tampa Bay, is an exclusive sponsor of the premier automotive event on the West coast of Florida!" said Donald Phillips, managing director of Woodie’s Wash Shack. “We could not have a better partner or event that demonstrates our mantra of "Car people washing cars!"

With this new multi-year agreement, Woodie’s Wash Shack will have a strong brand presence on site with trackside and spectator signage and a display activation at the event. Leading up to next weekend’s Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES show car has made multiple appearances at the Woodie’s Wash Shack location in St. Petersburg for customers to interact with and take pictures.

"It’s outstanding to have Woodie’s Wash Shack, a great local company, get involved in this premier St. Petersburg event for the first time," said Kim Green, co-owner, chairman and CEO of Green Savoree Racing Promotions, organizers of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. "We also appreciate Woodie’s assistance in keeping our vehicles shined up too leading up to the big race weekend."

Woodie’s Wash Shack offers single wash options as well as monthly wash club memberships. Prices start at $6 for a single wash or $24 for the monthly membership. Combining the most modern equipment in the industry with a helpful and considerate staff, Woodie’s provides a first-class experience while operating eco-friendly by recycling 90 percent of the water used per car wash.
