2nd American F1 team in works?
US F1 announced their potential entry earlier this year, although confirmation of that will have to wait for the political row between the current teams and the FIA to be resolved.
With Ecclestone now announcing a second US team is waiting in the wings, it will prompt speculation regarding such giants as Penske or Andretti Racing Green.
"There's two American teams," confirmed Ecclestone at the launch of a Formula One credit card.
"It will be good to see some new faces. Something like that (a change) is always good.
"When you think about it, who would have thought we would be talking about Brawn and Red Bull the way we are talking about them now."
However, before any new entrants are confirmed, the battle of the budget must be settled. More at Sporting Life
