Ganassi to use Honda power too?

UPDATE #3 Other rumors say Ganassi will indeed use Honda power and Dallara, instead of Panoz, chassis. With Panoz doing Champ Car in 2007, we suspect the IRL will become an all-Dallara series in 2007. 11/08/05 Another source is telling us Ganassi will stick with Toyota power and has lined up Wheldon to drive. This source says it will also include some F1 testing with the Toyota F1 team for Wheldon. Not sure which rumor to believe, Honda or Toyota for Ganassi, but either way it should all flush out soon. If Honda lost Wheldon to Toyota, ouch. 11/06/05 We hear that Ganassi has indeed signed the deal with Honda for engines in 2006 and that Dan Wheldon may be tied to it. Rumor has it that Wheldon left AGR because he wasn't getting paid as much as AGR teammate Dario Franchitti, though that may just be scuttlebutt. 11/04/05 Hot on the heels of Penske Racing announcing they will use Honda IRL engines next year comes word that Chip Ganassi has also done a deal with Honda. We asked Mike Hull to confirm but all he would tell AutoRacing1.com was "we have to improve the performance of our team next year." That doesn't tell us much, but reading between the lines…..
