Meijer 300 pre-race appearances

Here is a list of Thursday's IndyCar Series driver appearances in advance of the Meijer Indy 300 Meijer at Kentucky Speedway, 4990 Houston Road, Florence, 6-7 p.m.: Marco Andretti will join his father and team owner Michael Andretti for an autograph session for 200 fans. Admission wristbands will be distributed beginning at 5 p.m. Visitors also will be able to participate in IndyCar Series street-legal two-seater rides from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and test their skills on race simulators from 5 to 8 p.m.

Duke Energy Children's Museum, Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave., 10 a.m.-noon: Milka Duno will read the children's book she wrote, "Go Milka Go!", with students from several area organizations.
