Quote of the Week

A reader writes, Dear AutoRacing1.com, I have a quote of the week for you that I picked up off a discussion forum: "When I grow up, I wanna be like AJ Allmendinger…$3M a year, and SUNDAYS OFF!" The guy is referring to the fact that AJ fails to qualify for most NASCAR races and gets to go home early. I just fell off my chair when I read that. He had a winning combination in Champ Car with Mike Cannon as his engineer and Forsythe Championship Racing. Now he has a big paycheck but not much else. He's a star. Peter Joseph
