Zwolsman to make Champ Car debut in Mexico City

Rumors suggest that Mexican Homero Richards and Venezuelan Luis Schiavo will make their Champ Car debuts in Mexico City in November. Add another name to the field for Mexico City it appears. Toyota Atlantic champion Charles Zwolsman (pictured right) is now set for a subsidized one-off ride on Champ Car’s Mexico City season finale in November. “I am very excited about racing in Champ Car. I hope that it will open some doors for next year in Champ Car. I guess it is going to be very different than racing in Atlantic, but I take this as an opportunity and I will do my very best."

Rumors also suggest that Canadian Michael Valiante might yet run a race or two before the year is out with backing from a South Korea sponsor, so we are seeing a lot of interest in drivers wanting to get a race in this year with hopes of landing a full-time ride in 2006.
