Valles to make Spyker debut?

Markus Winkelhock will on Wednesday almost certainly be confirmed by Spyker as the dumped Christijan Albers' replacement for the European grand prix.

But while Christian Klien and Narain Karthikeyan are locked in a battle of who can come up with the more lucrative sponsors' check for the rest of the season, the Dutch team may take the opportunity to put a second 'one-off' driver in the car in Hungary early next month.

The Spanish newspaper Diario As reports that rookie test driver Adrian Valles, who is 21, is hoping to race alongside team regular Adrian Sutil at Budapest before handing over to Albers' full time replacement.

He said: "I knew that I did not have a chance (of the seat) for the Nurburgring. But for the following race at the Hungaroring, yes. It is possible that I will race there."

The most immediate hurdle for Spaniard Valles, however, is that he has not yet qualified for a mandatory FIA Super License.
