Ferrari to decide on Raikkonen engine next weekend

Ferrari engineers have inspected the engine but have not decided whether or not to take the risk of using it at Sepang or play it safe by installing a new one and taking a ten-position grid penalty.
"Hopefully everything will be okay," Raikkonen told reporters at the circuit, where on Wednesday the ambient temperatures hovered around a hot 35 degrees (C).
The 27-year-old championship leader, fastest of the ten teams on track, added: "On Friday or Saturday we will decide if the engine has to be changed."
Kimi said Ferrari was concentrating on preparations for the upcoming Malaysian GP.
"We have some new aerodynamic parts here," he added, admitting that the Malaysian heat makes it difficult for the drivers.
"But (it is difficult) not just for the drivers but also the people who work on the cars," Raikkonen said.
"It is more difficult here than other places but on the other hand it is the same for everyone."
