F1 Rumor: Pirelli defeats Bridgestone for tire contract

Formula 1, the pinnacle of motorsport, and the FIA will announce next week that Pirelli has been confirmed as the sole Global Tire Partner of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, according to Autosport.

Pirelli had to fend off a challenge from Bridgestone, who was rumored to have offered a substantial amount of money.

The new deal will run for four years, from 2025 to the 2028 season inclusive.
